1990 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
3:25:50 is the golden moment of Sam Posey's career when he gets to tell Bobby Unser "Sorry Bobby, but you're wrong" after all the times Bobby told Sam, "Sorry Sam, you're wrong." Sam must have been waiting years just for this.
love classic nascar
2020s are the worst years
An indy race with no yellows some would say that's an oxymoron.
One of those Imps must have been unlucky not to have won. Team must have got the tyre pressures wrong🙂
My first NASCAR race.
It was good to see Ernie back driving.
Back when AU racing was fun. Mustang v Camaro? I don't give a single eff lol.
I just love watching this era of Indy racing. Thanks a million for uploading the races. It's too bad you can't upload f1 races.
that wreck took out a lot of the start and parks
Wow, just 2 cars racing for the win at Daytona, you don't see that these days.
I saw this race with my dad. The sound was loud and unlike anything I’d ever experienced. Just raw power.
2:16:36 DJ being interviewed by his brother at victory lane❤
Absolutely love RUclipss randomness!!!! Great footage of a golden era @ Le Mans. FACT: Winning #9 GT40 went on to win '69 LM 24 hrs [ #6/chassis 1075], thus being the only chassis to win the race more than once.
That Jimmie Johnson color package is super clean. The teal looks great!
I'm getting a lot of free publicity from this 🙂 Probably watched this when I was very small, to my mother's horror.
People try to say the Brickyard 400 was boring, but this race was great.
Mark Martin makes his first start for Morgan-McClure Motorsports who is attempting their 2nd race two little known fixtures at the time
Some of the best looking open wheel race cars were the CART/PPG Indy cars of the 90's. Lots of notable drivers names here in this race at that time.

One for the books !!
The race really should have been delayed to a warmer day. The cold casued wrecks, yellow flag, tires get cold, restart, another wreck, yellow flag, tires get cold, another wreck.....
I don't miss the wrecks and guys getting hurt but i miss the attrition. It made all 500 miles meaningful. In the 2020s. You honestly only need to watch the last 10 laps now.
The thumbnail is crazy
Dale blaming jeff for being impatient is total bullshit.this fucker would wreck anybody in front if him to win.
@1:08 you catch a glimpse of the Jim Hurtubise Mallard rolling off the grid. It would be the final race the Mallard would qualify for, the last time for a front engined "Indy Car". It was a DNQ at Pocono a few weeks later. Herk switched to rear engine cars in '73 and '74. From 1975 to 1980 Hurtubise brought the Mallard to Indianapolis but never had a competitive effort.
1:33:52 didn’t realize it was that close lol
Why were they taking so damned long just to get through the starting lineup? good lord.
they get brook park if the browns dont go there
burke lake front airport cost money
we need to bring this race back here in cleveland
Harry Gant should have been penalized for getting a push on the last lap though. It was against the rules at the time. This is still against the rules.
i loved it michael may of dereved it but al jr wins and al sr 3rd true unser winning at indy
Anybody know why Dale was not just running to finish 3rd if needed? I know he loved to win, but you cannot take yourself out trying to run 2nd over 3rd, even if Brett was leaking oil.
My mom loved Al Unser!!! RIP, mom and Big Al!!!
Thank God they put in the bus stop after 1991 I believe, people would have kept getting killed had they not made that move. Now they would go almost 200 into that turn maybe.
I love how the only commercial is all the previous champs looking all dapper and such. Totally different from today. Also, I wish the ps4 had indycar game. Love the 80s 90s indycar
3:26:32 the curse strikes
Why did they cut away at the flag? Couldn't see who won
Guerrero shades of Coulthard at Monza
DEI should have let Steve Park go and kept DW. He had a few more wins left in him,
the years 90's the best years for me , the ambience, the atmosphère is unique ! comparated to today. 41:38 "mdr" it's reminds me the movie " jour de tonnere" with tom cruise jajajajaja 02:34:48 my god Rip the Mike Rich
26:50 ok job to have 😅
How freaking cool was that
Proof that 'plate' tracks can have great racing without stages and riding around in a pack all race.
I read his biography......Al Unser: no questions only unsers
Sterling Marlin caused more wrecks on the restrictor plate tracks than anyone. Even the one that took Dale Sr.'s life. 😡
Honestly Earnhardt was blocking sterlin trying to keep him behind he came down on him knowing his car was fast and could get pasthe 8 and 15 he was driving defensive for last 3 laps wasn't sterlin fault he died.
Just a race away from the Cart/USAC split that did so much damage to the sport.
80s and 90s NASCAR was awesome!!!!!! That garbage now ( 2024 ) isn’t worth watching! Thankful for RUclips 😃
The exit of the road for Larry Pearson at the beginning of the race is tough. "I never get tired of this old 90s course.
